Providing caring, non-judgmental and inspiring environment to explore and reflect builds context that promotes healing, transformation, and living fulfilling life.

“I highly recommend Dr. Marovic. She is insightful, caring and direct. What stands out for me is her balanced approach to engagement which enables you to acknowledge and reflect on your past and what may have led to a particular moment on the one hand, and on the other hand, insightful discussion and personalised practical suggestions for the way forward and how to improve mentally, emotionally and physically. With Žana you won’t only dwell on the past endlessly, and nor will you only receive superficial one-size-fits-all tips. I am so glad I found her when I did!”

I believe in

Baby steps

Starting with the most accessible aspects and once client feels positive and motivated introducing more challenging aspects.

Therapist needs to be genuine and real

It is important to be authentic with clients. Appropriate sharing with clients can enhance clients’ ability to be real and honest.

Therapy as inspiring process

In times when life feels like being stuck in a dark tunnel encouragement and wisdom from the therapist can help clients to remain engaged while inspiring and daring them to be the best of who they are.

Positive psychology

People come to treatment to talk about what’s wrong, but it is also important to talk about what is positive in their life. Each person has natural areas of strength we can further develop to help increase coping skills, reduce distress, improve relationships, and shift towards more positive life outlook.

Holistic, spiritual & transpersonal approach

I believe that respect, knowledge, and compassion in psychotherapy are leading to wellness, new beginnings and joy. In my approach I foster an integration of body, mind and spirit as well as transpersonal vision which deepens connections with one-self, others and larger sense of being.

Below are some of the services I offer. These span all the way from therepay to wellnss retreats and courses.

Annorexia Nervosa

The key features of anorexia nervosa are refusal to sustain a minimally normal body weight, intense fear of gaining weight, despite being underweight and distorted view of one’s body or weight, or denial of the dangers of one’s low weight. There are two types of anorexia, the restricting type and the purging type…

Abuse & Trauma

Abuse-related trauma can develop after someone has been sexually or physically abused and/or emotionally abused or neglected, usually in childhood. The abuser is often an older family member or a close family friend or relative. Trauma can change the way a person develops, emotionally and psychologically.

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and attention deficit disorder (ADD) have symptoms that may begin in childhood and continue into adulthood. ADD/ADHD is the most commonly studied and diagnosed psychiatric disorder affecting about 3 to 5% of people globally with symptoms starting before seven years of age.

When times get tough, we can can all do with some uplifting words. The below are some inspiring posts that will help you through the tough times.

There was a little boy with a bad temper. His father gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost his temper, to hammer a nail in the back fence. The first day the boy had driven 37 nails into the fence. Then it gradually dwindled down. He discovered it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those nails into the fence.

Being Busy

Once upon a time a very strong woodcutter ask for a job in a timber merchant, and he got it. The paid was really good and so were the work conditions. For that reason, the woodcutter was determined to do his best. His boss gave him an axe and showed him the area where he was supposed to work.

I walk down a street and there’s a deep hole in the sidewalk. I fall in. It takes forever to get out. It’s my fault.
